Morgan learned about my maternity and newborn photography services from an advertisement in Cobblestones, an annual publication issued by the Junior League of Charleston. She contacted me to schedule a newborn session with the maternity session add-on. Since she is a College of Charleston alumni, she wanted to do their couples maternity session at the campus Cistern. The campus is beautiful and offers a variety of scenery! Morgan also had her bridal portraits taken at the Cistern, so continuing with maternity photos here seemed fitting.
Morgan and Sean are a cute, fun, crafty/DIY-er, good ol’ American couple! They even host their own blog called Charleston Crafted where they share their DIY experiences with others – you should check it out! Just days before their maternity session, tropical storm Florence decided to make her debut in the lowcountry. Although, she didn’t cause much damage, there were power outages, yard debris, and business closures. The morning of the session, the College of Charleston was just reopening the campus including opening the shutters on the historic campus buildings. Luckily, the maternity session went on as planned. Sean and Morgan showed up wearing bold, rich colors that complemented each other well. Check out the images from their maternity session!
